Parties, Competitions, and Outings, Oh My! Inside the Festive World of Techvalens!

Jun 7, 2023

‘Work hard, play harder’ – that’s the mantra we live by at Techvalens.

Our team takes pride in delivering top-notch work, but we also know the importance of having fun and building a strong sense of community. While we take our work seriously, we also believe that a positive work culture is essential for fostering creativity and collaboration. That’s why we make it a point to celebrate our successes and milestones in ways that not only create a sense of community but also promote teamwork and a healthy work-life balance.

We understand that our team members are not just cogs in a machine; they are individuals with unique talents, passions, and personalities. From wild parties to friendly competitions and epic outings, we’ve got it all covered. Just to give you a sneak peek, here’s how we acknowledge and appreciate the contributions of each team member and create an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

  • Celebrating Birthdays as a Team

Birthdays are a big deal at Techvalens. After all, what’s better than an excuse to eat cake and hang out with your colleagues? Each month, we come together as a team to celebrate all of our employees’ birthdays. We even have a tradition of singing the classic “Happy Birthday” song, and let’s just say, some of us may need a bit more practice in the vocal department. But hey, it’s the thought that counts, right?

  • Festival Fun at Techvalens

We love to celebrate all festivals with the same enthusiasm and inclusivity. From Holi to Christmas to Eid, we come together as a team to participate in activities like decoration and competitions and even give out prizes for the best-dressed team members (male and female, of course). These celebrations are not just an opportunity to learn about each other’s cultures and traditions, but also to strengthen our team’s bond. Plus, who doesn’t love a little friendly competition and some sweet rewards?

  • Yearly Outings for Team Bonding

We have yearly outings where we leave the office behind and go on fun adventures together. We’ve gone on everything from hiking trips to amusement parks to beach days. Our team-building activities range from escape rooms to karaoke battles (let’s just say some of us have better singing skills than others). These outings are not only a blast, but they also help us recharge our batteries and come back to work with a renewed sense of camaraderie and enthusiasm.

  • Techvalens’ Birthday Celebration

With plenty of laughter and good cheer, our birthday celebrations are a highlight of the year at Techvalens. Every year on November 30th, we come together to reflect on our accomplishments and celebrate as a team. We plan exciting one-day trips, organize thrilling games and competitions, and give away awards for different themes. Whether we’re competing for the title of “best team player” or just enjoying each other’s company over a delicious meal, we always make sure to have a blast on our special day. And of course, we can’t forget the cake!

  • Sports and Weekend Outing Plans

We believe that team-building activities don’t have to be limited to office hours. That’s why we plan random weekend outings every few weeks, where we can bond outside of work in a more casual setting. Whether it’s trying out a new restaurant or going on a group hike, these outings give us a chance to relax and have fun together. We also have a sports event activity, where we organize different sports and games for team members to participate in. It’s a great way to encourage some healthy competition and get our bodies moving.

At Techvalens, we believe that we are what we are because of our employees. By celebrating our achievements and milestones, we strengthen our team’s bond and create a sense of community. From cake-filled birthdays to hiking adventures and everything in between, we make sure to enjoy the journey as much as the destination. Who says work can’t be fun? We certainly don’t!
